Marcia Gleeson resigned as board president, a position held since 2011, to move closer to family in Texas. We sincerely appreciate her work and dedication to our agency. Mrs. Gleeson passed away in 2021 but will always have a special place in our hearts. She will be missed.

Marcia holds an Associate Degree from Joplin Junior College, a Bachelor of Science Degree from Kansas State Teachers College, Master of Science Degree from Pittsburgh State University and an Administrative Certificate from Illinois State University

Her educational experience includes 44 years of teaching in grades three to five in Denver, Co., Omaha, NE, and Kewanee, IL. Twenty-five of those years she also served as a principal in the Kewanee School District.

After her retirement from Kewanee Schools, Marcia continued on as principal at St. Pauls, Visitation and Cambridge Schools. She continued to be a vital part of the educational community as she assisted and counseled many teachers, agencies and individuals.
